CNN is now, apparently, offering shirts with the day's headlines on them. Um, why? Do I need a shirt that says "Clinton urged to reject votes of racists" or "Flying fish stays aloft for 45 seconds"?

Here 'tis! I have wanted this tattoo for like, um, seven years. When I was in Finland, I took a trip to the Arctic Circle and was given a Lappish name in a horribly tacky tourist ceremony--namely, Bear: "Sä oot ihan karhun näköinen!" (You look like a bear!) I was told. So the middle bit is a Lappish-themed bear; the outside is a Lappish-themed sun (top half) and moon (bottom half).
Egon is all, "Dude, I'm just trying to curl up in this blanket cave here and watch some Buffy," and I'm all, "Dude, that sounds like a REALLY FREAKING STELLAR IDEA."
Well, I guess tentatively renewed? This is old-ish news, but, at the same time, I haven't seen anything more recent. Apparently NBC struck a deal with DirecTV to get this done. Frankly, I do not care if they had to strike a deal with George W. Bush himself, that is how much I wanted this show to come back.
Suffice it to say I am happy. This is by far one of the best shows on television -- maybe the best one still airing. Is it better than Heroes? BSG? Probably. It is definitely better than The Wire*. It might not be better than Lost.
I just received the Season One DVDs from Amazon today, and I can't wait to watch them.

*This is an objective fact, provable by SCIENCE. And yes, I am dutifully watching S1 of The Wire currently. I mean, until I get bored and have to switch to Dexter, or decide I'd rather re-watch other favorite shows I have already seen. When does The Wire get interesting?
